When will Bill Belichick retire

At the end of April, NFL star Julian Edelmann announced his resignation. After many successful years as a wide receiver with the New England Patriots, the 34-year-old wants to retire.

Two players in particular could not and would not really believe this decision: Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. The quarterback and tight end of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had won titles with Edelman in New England for years.

"We all know that Julian has not resigned," said Brady last weekend. "Let's be honest. He's just too scared to tell Bill that he wants to come to Tampa."

Gronk also spoke about a possible comeback of his former teammate and tried to encourage him to move to Florida.

Edelman doesn't want to return

Edelman therefore sent his former teammates a message on Twitter with the words: "I'm not going anywhere. #Foxboroforever". But because the Bucs team hadn't received the message, Edelman became clearer. (NEWS: Everything about the NFL)

In the Pat McAfee Show he now explained that he had sent an even clearer message to both of them privately. "I'm out, guys," texted the passport recipient and dashed all hopes of his ex-colleagues.

Brady and Gronkowski had joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to last season and won the Super Bowl straight away in their freshman year.
