What are the most efficient hypoallergenic deodorants
In the hardness test: Deodorants without aluminum for dermatitis
Finally summer again! The right time for a new one Product test for aluminum-free deodorants. Who mean Deodorant test from July 2015 already knows, will experience deja vu in one or the other. However, there are also new fragrances in my favorites list. When making the selection, I once again attached importance to aluminum-free deodorants and subtly scented variants that are suitable for skin prone to dermatitis. Because I've suffered from skin rashes since I was born - atopic dermatitis, as I prefer to call neurodermatitis. Because the term neurodermatitis is a bit misleading. Neurodermatitis is not psychological! Skin eczema has many causes and is more of a symptom than a disease.
I'm still a big fan of Deodorant sticksbecause they keep the armpits dry. As the days get longer and sometimes last into the night, the effect of a deodorant stick wears off. For such long days / nights I prefer deodorant sprays because I can use them to freshen up quickly in between.
Deodorants without aluminum - my personal ranking
1st place: CD deodorant care stick water lily
These ph-neutral deodorant stickWater lilyis ultra-light and handy, so it fits in every handbag, no matter how small. And I love this fragrance! It is particularly gentle on the skin - even after shaving no mineral oils, silicones, parabens, dyes or animal ingredients - like the deodorant atomizer, which only made it to 4th place in my last test because it contains alcohol. The atomizer is ideal for in between. And it is also available in a smaller 25ml version (for on the go). The deodorant stick water lily does not contain any alcohol! Therefore: 1st place! It is available in most drugstores, so: DM, Bipa, Müller, ...
2nd place: CL med + deodorant stick
„My deodorant"Von Müller is made for me: hypoallergenic, vegan, no zinc, no alcohol, no aluminum, no preservatives and no animal testing! Even after a fresh armpit shave, it doesn't burn.
The 40 ml CL med + deodorant stick can be found on the deodorant shelf, the mini deodorant stick with 25 ml - well hidden in the "travel sizes".
I will tell you more information about this in my deodorant test from 2015 below.
3rd place: Nivea Deodorant protect & care roll-on & atomizer
The choice between roll-on (50 ml) and atomizer (75 ml) clearly falls on the atomizer. Interestingly, it smells a little better and also works very well as a perfume substitute. Unfortunately there is no stick. Therefore only 3rd place. Anyone who likes the Nivea cream fragrance will love this deodorant - just like me. Zero percent alcohol, zero percent aluminum.
The Nivea deodorant protect & care convinces with its gentleness and care for the skin. Nivea deodorants are available in all drugstores and Nivea stores. Unfortunately, the Nivea house in Vienna recently closed. What a pity!
4th place: Rexona pure fresh roll-on
Before I switched to aluminum-free deodorants, Rexona cotton dry was my absolute favorite deodorant. Of course I was hooked when I saw this Rexona deodorant without aluminum salts for the first time. The Rexona pure fresh roll-on However, it only makes it to 4th place. The fresh scent lasts about half a day and despite the alcohol, the deodorant is relatively gentle on the skin. Just after a shave I wouldn't use it.
5th place: Nivea Deodorant fresh comfort spray
The Nivea Deodorant fresh comfortwithout aluminum (but with alcohol) smells wonderful - according to the website, like cotton. After spraying it on, however, it doesn't smell as good on my skin. Therefore only 5th place.

Deodorant test 2015
Which aluminum-free deodorant is gentle on the skin and still has a strong effect on sweat and bad smells? I've suffered from skin rashes since I was born - atopic dermatitis, as I prefer to call neurodermatitis. Because the term neurodermatitis is a bit misleading. Neurodermatitis is not psychological! Skin eczema has many causes and is more of a symptom than a disease. With a heavy heart, I said goodbye to my favorite Rexona Cotton dry deodorant a few months ago because it contains alcohol and aluminum salts and I started looking for it best aluminum free deodorant made.
Deodorants in the endurance test
These different scents convinced me in the drugstore and subjected me to the practical test: CD Deodorant Atomizer Water Lily, CD Fresh Deodorant Roll-on Pomegranate, Seba med Balsam Deo extra sensitive, Balea Deo Roll-on Balsam, CL med + Deo Stick and Lavera Soft roll-on orange feeling.
It is probably no surprise that none of the deodorants tested passed the long-term test as well as a deodorant with aluminum salts, as the antiperspirant effect was missing. Nevertheless, I was able to choose a clear test winner:
1st place: CL med + deodorant stick
"My deodorant" is called it Deodorant stick CL med + from Müllerrightly. It is actually made for me: hypoallergenic, vegan, no zinc, no alcohol, no aluminum, no preservatives and no animal testing!
Even after a fresh armpit shave or small bruises under the arm, it does not burn when applied. It is very well absorbed by the skin, does not cause any sweat marks on clothing and I can still feel a fresh, pleasantly soap-scented scent in the evening, although I only use it in the morning. The packaging is made of plastic, so it is ultra-light and practical to take with you.
2nd place: Seba med Balsam Deodorant extra sensitive
The pH neutral Balsam deodorant from Sebamed is available in many drug stores. I am a fan of the "Wellness Shower" shower gel with water lily fragrance from Seba med, so I was sure even before this test that I would tolerate the deodorant well. It is fragrance-free, without preservatives, without alcohol and without aluminum salts.
The roll-on packaged in glass is relatively heavy and therefore not very suitable for travel.
3rd place: Lavera Soft Deodorant Roll-on Orange Feeling
The situation is similar with the natural cosmetics deodorant roll-on Lavera orange feeling.
It is available from DM and in health food stores.
What I think is really great: He is vegan, without alcohol and without aluminum salts and in a pretty glass bottle.
The orange scent on the skin is unfortunately not my thing (that's a matter of taste, of course!).
Therefore, despite its many very good properties, this promising natural cosmetic deodorant only made it to third place.
4th place: CD deodorant atomizer water lily
I love the scent! The CD atomizer is very suitable (despite the glass) for on the go and for sport - especially the small 25ml spray bottle. He totally comes without mineral oils, without silicones, without parabens, without dyes and without animal ingredients out. The scent does contain, however alcohol and is therefore not recommended for sensitive skin and especially after shaving. I like to spray the scent on hair or clothing as a fragrance substitute and not directly under my armpits.
5th place: CD Fresh Deodorant Roll-on Pomegranate
I really like the scent of pomegranate - especially the Weleda care range with pomegranate. The Pomegranate scent of the CD roll-on is very subtle - almost too subtle. And since it unfortunately contains alcohol, this deodorant roll-on is not for sensitive skin.
