Hybrid course: Programming your own apps with LiveCode

Thu Apr 15 2021 at 06:30 pm to 09:30 pm

Bergische Volkshochschule Solingen-Wuppertal | Solingen

Requirements: Good knowledge of Windows and the Internet; Programming skills do not need to be present.
LiveCode is a programming language that is easy to learn, but also contains numerous tools and functions for the graphic design of programs. With LiveCode you can develop apps for all areas (e-learning, administration, multimedia presentations, games, and much more). The development of the apps can be implemented on all relevant platforms.
Nowadays every company should offer its own app. An app is an electronic business card for any company, but it offers a lot more. Apps are often better adapted to the devices than websites, more convenient to use and can access information that websites do not have, such as GPS positioning, camera and push functions:
- Introduction to LiveCode
- Basic building blocks of an app
- Learn to program
- Multimedia and graphic elements
- App projects
- Bring apps to different devices
Important: In the seminar we work with Windows and Android to learn the programming language. If you want to create apps for iOS in the future, you will need an Apple computer.
Fees for ten appointments: € 240.00
