The high-end solution from Anker, which is not exactly cheap at around € 70, leaves nothing to be desired in terms of functions and performance. The right capacity

First, consider what you want to charge. In the manual of your smartphone, tablet or laptop you will find information on how many mAh the device's battery has. For a smartphone, this value is usually somewhere between 1200 and 2000mAh. Often much higher with a tablet, iPad or laptop.

Why should you choose a capacity that is at least 20% higher? This is due to the fact that the manufacturers usually state the values ​​of the capacity of the built-in batteries. How often is the power bank needed?

Go through the probable purpose of use once, so that the field can usually be narrowed down even further.

The situation is similar with the current intensity at the output. The higher the power here, the more energy can be given off. However, it should be noted that the current strength should not be higher than that which the device to be charged can handle, otherwise the battery in the end device will be overloaded again and again. How often can the power bank charge my smartphone?
Just compare the capacities of the two devices. A smartphone with 2000mAh of battery capacity can be fully recharged approx. 6-8 times from a power bank with 20,000mAh after it has been completely discharged. The smartphone is charged a maximum of 50% from a very small power bank with a capacity of only 1500mAh.

The calculation of loading times is always the same in and of itself. For this, the maximum capacity of the battery to be charged and the current output strength on the power bank are important.

I not only want to charge my smartphone, but also my tablet. What should i be aware of?
First of all, tablets need significantly more power. So choose a power bank with a high capacity (we recommend 10,000mAh or more). Most tablets also have a 2A power connection. In many cases, tablets can also be supplied with 1A and 1.5A A outputs, but this takes considerably more time and can often only be carried out if the tablet is switched off during the charging process.
